Estonia's largest cultural centre, Salme Cultural Centre, underwent a comprehensive renovation. Thanks to the modern updates and furnishings, Salme is now highly capable. For the next 2.5 years, Salme will also host productions by the Tallinn City Theatre. Progear had the wonderful opportunity to be part of the completion process of the Salme Cultural Centre.

Cabling Infrastructure and Racks
Salme Cultural Centre is one of Progear’s largest and most extensive projects, as we handled the complete audio, lighting, video, and power cabling and accessories for the main hall and black box theatres. This included cabling for background sound and internal communication systems around these spaces, and termination of cables. In total, nearly 40 km of power cable and more than 30 km of signal cable such as speaker cable, microphone cable, Cat6, DMX cable, and SDI cable were laid, along with thousands of sockets and plugs.

Rigging
We supplied and installed a complete rigging solution for the main hall and black boxes, including control systems, trusses, cable coilers, and all other necessary equipment.

Stages and Podiums
We custom-designed floor boxes for Salme's stage that are flush with the stage surface and can withstand several tons, such as a forklift.

Stage Curtains and Tracks
We installed double tracks around both black boxes with black Molton fabric. High-quality curtain tracks with large, smooth-moving rubber rollers.

General Lighting for Two Black Box Theatres
We supplied and installed high-quality, cost-effective hanging DMX-controlled general lights that are individually controllable and feature perfect smooth dimming from 0-100%, as required in a theatrical environment.
Lighting
We supplied moving lights Robe T1 Profile and Robe TETRA Agnatha for the main hall, a Chamsys lighting console, and ETC theatre lights, profiles, and CYCs. Thanks for the cooperation to Focuspoint OÜ and E&T OÜ!
Video
Integration of new and old video distribution systems between spaces. Main hall and black box video projection along with robotic cameras, installed with the assistance of RGB Baltic OÜ.
