The goal was to create a venue that would meet the needs of a wide range of events and have stationary equipment for daily lunch service as well as weekend partying. The entire pub needed to be covered with background music, but also equipped with sound, lighting, and video systems that could handle live concerts, discos, karaoke, or sports broadcasts like football games.
Sound System
We chose HK Audio speakers, supported by an Audac speaker network distributed throughout the pub for background music functionality.
Lighting
For the cozy space and small stage, we used CHAUVET DJ LED-based economical PAR type lights and moving heads for the lighting solution, and ADJ Lighting strip lights to create effects on the dance floor. An atmosphere was enhanced with a fog machine (Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 4D). A user-friendly lighting control system was established, which can be operated with a physical lighting console (Lightshark LS1) or remotely via a wireless mobile device/computer.
Video Solution
We used an Epson projector and an Optoma motorized screen for the video setup.
Rigging Solution
We used Admiral Staging's safety cables, clamps, pipe battens, and rigging accessories.
